More Meditation in Fall 2017
Meditation is the practice of calming the body, the breath and the mind. With continued practice meditation slows down the movement of the mind, which is made up of thoughts, and brings healthy benefits to both the body and mind.
A growing body of science research is showing a strong connection between meditation and health. Our thoughts DO have an impact on our health.
This 4 week series is an introduction to 4 different meditation techniques. Along with teachings and discussion, each class will include a combined guided and silent meditation. This course is designed to give you the basics to start a home meditation practice.
No previous experience is necessary.
