Today our seventh grader asked me if I knew that eating red meat contributed to cancer. I said yes, and asked how he heard about this. The science teacher taught this to the students today. She suggested that if you eat beef every day that you cut it down to every other day. She said that eating meat once a week was preferable.
Yay to science! The facts are there, and we are sharing them with the next generation!
