Greening of the Self First

Spending time in nature is a great way to become more aware of the beauty of nature and the needs of nature. Rather than filling your head with more ideas and suggestions of how to decrease waste and carbon footprint, take a moment to fill your heart with a walk in your neighborhood, or a nearby park, taking in the powerful trees and the light of day. In place of a treadmill workout, try power walking outside, if conditions safely permit. 
Let yourself attune to all that nature gives and you will attune to ways to give back!
